Today's mail brought my award letter from Social Security confirming my payments to start August 22, 2012 (for the month of July...first check is a long wait) and also a letter from my cardiologist with the results of my echocardiogram:
"Dear Mr. Welton.
Your echocardiogram was nearly normal (close enough for me...not like I ever wished to be "normal"), showing some mildly enlarged chambers, but still normal pumping function, normal pressures, and normal valves. Good News!
Sincerely A. McDuff Sheehy, MD (cool name, don't you think?)."
Hooray for 'normal'.
