That can be a sword that cuts both ways. Do you part company with a smile on your face or not? Remember the first time (many year's ago) someone's words or actions - or even inaction, made you feel not so good. We all have that in our experience mix.
Now, recall the first time (long long ago) that someone's words or actions made you feel good.
How far back can you go to pull those memories? I can go back to first grade (50+ years) for both.
*I got picked last for a sports team.
*The little blonde girl that sat in front of me smiled at me and said something about she thought I was funny.
See how long those impacts last? Both times lasted no more than ten seconds. How many seconds have I had in 64 1/2 years? (I tried using my little hand-held calculator, but it error-ed out, as the number was too large to fit.)
We each carry a powerful magic within us every day. Neither people in those examples probably don't even remember me, but I will remember them forever.
How did you use your power today and how will you use it tomorrow?
Each morning we awake to a new opportunity to practice our own immortality.
Assuming I live through the whole day (I am counting on it), I will get a fresh bank account credit of 86,000,400 seconds deposited to a new day in my life. The credit expires at midnight.
I am thankful for that opportunity. I think I can use at least 10 of those seconds to make someone feel good. How about you?
