I AM GRATEFUL FOR THE FREEDOM TO TRAVEL WHEN AND WHERE I WISH.

We often take our freedoms for granted.  No stopping and showing identity papers, cross over state lines, etc.  We should be thankful.  Many people around the world do not have that benefit.  Happy Birthday America.

GRATITUDE - July 3, 2012

I AM GRATEFUL FOR BRYCE AND ZION CANYONS PRESERVED FOR ALL OF US.

Day 5 ...hiked around in Snow Canyon yesterday...great petrified sand dunes, portions covered in lava...amazing.  ...hiked easier portions of Zion today...95 in the shade... 102 in the parking lot...took the shuttle around to trail heads...oh-yeah...the gift from the US Government...LIFETIME PASS TO ALL NATIONAL PARKS=$10.00...at about $25/per park, I am in the money already...Thursday is Bryce Canyon, so it it is paying off already.
